About Us
Who we are
Our roots at Cerrone’s European run deep and are highly specialized. established in 1976 by our father Jim Cerrone, we started out as strictly a Peugeot service shop. As times changed in the 70’s & 80’s and Peugeot vehicles were no longer sold in the us, we expanded our line of service to include Volvo. Frank & Tony joined the family business at this time and our company name changed to Cerrone & sons to reflect the change and the expanding line of vehicles that we serviced.
By the 90’s our line of service – which often coincided with our interests and hobbies – included Peugeot, Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar and other specialty European vehicles such as 4×4 vehicles and off-road modifications. Experiencing tremendous success as a specialty shop, we saw the need to move into a much larger facility in 1999. This was a great achievement and we once again soon found ourselves naturally servicing other lines of vehicles for our customers. In 2008, BMW and MINI Cooper were officially added to our vehicle specialty list and our name changed back to Cerrone’s European. Today, the third generation of Cerrone’s helps to run Cerrone’s European. Frank’s son Tyler completed a 3-year automotive training program at De Anza college and now works as a part owner of the shop.
